Yes, A Halloween Card (PDCC #146)

Every once in a while, I like to pop into The Play Date Cafe and actually take on one of my own color challenges. Since this week's challenge is a classic and everybody's favorite, color splash, I thought I'd play along. Plus, the very generous SRM Stickers is our sponsor this week and you all know that I love playing with their product.

This week's splash is to add a hint of LIME GREEN. I love the bright sophistication of this color and the fun vibe it adds to anything. It goes particularly well with black and white and especially if you are wanting to make a Halloween card. Yes, I've already started with Halloween. I just couldn't resist the cute border stickers for this holiday.

I made a simple witches hat by cutting a scalloped circle in half for the bottom. I then took a piece of paper and folded it into the middle to create a triangle shape and trimmed the bottom in a half circle. Pop a bit of the extra scalloped border sticker on there and you have a cute hat.
